$WADZ Tokenomics: The Coordination Layer Explained

The Coordination Layer Of The Whole System

The token is the last of the four mechanisms, and it is the one that ties the other three together.

$WADZ is the native ERC-20 of the Wadoozie ecosystem. It is not the story, and it is not meant to replace the mission with speculation. The story comes first — the tour, the fragments, the publishers, the layer underneath the internet. But a living network needs a native mechanism to reward contribution, coordinate incentives, and make participation visible. That is what $WADZ is built for.

Today we walk through the numbers. The supply. The allocation. The price formula. The launch parameters. Every figure in this post is on-chain at launch and independently verifiable.

Supply

$WADZ launches on Ethereum under a 2 billion mint / 999,999,999 burn model.

Two billion tokens are minted at genesis. 999,999,999 are burned at launch. The remaining 1,000,000,001 is the permanent effective supply.

Born with two billion. Burned just under half on day one. Built around the remaining billion — plus a single founding-signal token tied to the character on-chain.

A clean billion to build around. No tax to navigate. No contract owner who can change anything later. No liquidity provider who can pull the rug.

The Allocation

The 1,000,000,001 effective supply is split across six categories.

Liquidity Pool — 75% (750,000,500 $WADZ)

The largest single allocation by a wide margin. 75% of effective supply goes directly into the liquidity pool, which is paired with ETH and then permanently burned. The LP tokens are sent to a dead address at launch. Nobody can pull them. Nobody can vote to pull them. The liquidity stays.

The 750,000,500 figure includes the 500-token rounding residue from the Signal Fragment tier math, which is rolled into LP at launch rather than left orphaned.

Treasury — 10% (100,000,000 $WADZ)

A DAO-governed multi-sig pool. Every spend requires a community vote that approves the amount, the destination, and the use case. Treasury tokens do not move without an on-chain proposal passing.

The Treasury covers five categories of spend: CEX listings and market making, operational reserves, grants and partnerships, marketing and growth, and token buybacks. It is the only allocation in the entire tokenomics that the community directly controls.

Publisher Rewards — 7% (70,000,000 $WADZ)

The pool that rewards the Publishers Network. The largest single creator-facing rewards pool in the project. Detailed in yesterday's post.

Signal Fragments — 5% (49,999,500 $WADZ)

The pool that settles fragment recoveries. 576 fragments across four tiers, deployed at launch. Detailed across the last three posts.

Team — 3% (30,000,000 $WADZ)

The team allocation, fully locked for 12 months from launch. No team tokens move during the first year of the mission. At month 12, the full allocation unlocks. The team has no on-chain liquidity for the first year. Period.

Wadoozie Genesis — 1 $WADZ

A single, symbolic founding-signal token. Minted to the address resolved from wadoozie.eth at launch. It exists so the character is on-chain in a verifiable way. It never moves. It accounts for the +1 in the effective supply figure.

The Price Formula

With a clean ~1 billion effective supply, the math is simple:

Price = Market Cap ÷ 1 Billion.

That formula holds at every cap. Every fragment reward, every publisher reward, every $WADZ position scales linearly with market cap against the same denominator.

A $100 position at launch maps to 1,600,000 $WADZ. At a $100M market cap, that position is $160,000. At $1B, it is $1,600,000.

We are not telling you to expect any of those caps. We are telling you that the math is the math, and the formula is fixed. What the market does with it is open.

Contract Ownership

Renounced post-launch

The LP is paired with ETH against a $46,875 reference book, yielding a starting token price of $0.0000625. The ETH amount is indicative at a $3,500 reference price — the final ETH deposited depends on ETH/USD at the moment of launch.

Why The Numbers Are What They Are

The launch is calibrated for meaningful day-one liquidity while leaving the price curve wide open for organic growth. A small, clean book at a low starting price means the early participants in the network are not buying against an already-stretched chart. The room is on the upside.

Every parameter above will be independently verifiable on Etherscan at the contract address, cross-linked from wadoozie.com at launch. Liquidity cannot be removed because the LP tokens are burned. The contract cannot be modified because ownership is renounced. Taxes cannot be introduced later because there is no tax function to toggle.

What $WADZ Does Inside The Network

The token plays four connected roles across the ecosystem.

Reward

Every approved publisher submission, every fragment recovery, every challenge winning, every bounty — all of it settles in $WADZ. The token is the unit the entire rewards surface settles in.

Progression

Standing across the network is visible in $WADZ. Publisher profiles, mission histories, leaderboard positions — they all anchor to the same unit. The token is how contribution becomes legible across the system.

Coordination

Campaigns, bounties, leaderboards, and node-based missions organize around $WADZ. It is the unit the entire economy of the network coordinates around. Without it, every mechanic would need its own internal currency, and they would not be interoperable. With it, the four mechanisms run on a single shared rail.

Access

Some experiences in the ecosystem are gated. Special drops. In-person experiences. Gated missions. Publisher perks. $WADZ is what unlocks them as the network grows.

What This Means If You Hold $WADZ

Holders form the committed base of the network.

Holding is how you align with long-term growth and stay closest to the mission. The supply is fixed. Every fragment recovered downstream, every publisher reward approved, every node activated happens against the same 1 billion supply curve everyone else is on. The earlier you show up, the more of that curve is still ahead of you.

What To Do Now

You do not need to do anything until launch. The token does not exist yet on the open market. There is no presale, no whitelist, no early-access mechanic. Anyone who claims otherwise is not us.

When the token launches on May 27th, the contract address will be published across every official channel and the audit report will go live alongside it. We will walk through the practical "how to be ready" steps in a dedicated post later in the series. For today, what matters is that you understand the architecture.

The numbers are public. The math is fixed. The mission is what they exist to serve.
